职责

作为人力资源调查员,你的工作将包括开展与员工不当行为相关的无偏见职场调查。这些调查可能包括歧视、职场暴力、报复、性骚扰、合理怀疑和盗窃等指控。你将制定访谈问题,撰写全面的调查报告并提出客观结论,并根据调查过程中获得的证据起草纪律处分信及相关文件。你的积极倾听能力将至关重要,因为你将采访投诉人、被投诉人、证人及其他相关人员,并评估信息的相关性和可信度。 

你将承担以下部分工作:
  • 确保调查按时完成并遵循相关程序。
  • 保持准确的调查记录。
  • 独立撰写和审阅书面调查报告及相关文件。
  • 为管理者和主管提供技术培训和研讨会。
  • 开展职场调查。
  • 解释WACs、RCWs、CBAs以及政策和程序。

任职资格

您将具备以下条件:
  • 具备六年(6年)相关领域的人力资源专业工作经验。

Our Human Resources Division (HRD) is currently recruiting for an HR Investigator that can work collaboratively and provide support to all levels of partners to ensure our employees are protected in the workplace.

Duties

As an HR Investigator you will spend your time conducting unbiased workplace investigations related to employee misconduct. These investigations could include allegations of discrimination, workplace violence, retaliation, sexual harassment, reasonable suspicion, and theft. You will develop interview questions, prepare comprehensive investigative reports with objective findings, and draft disciplinary letters and related correspondence based on the evidence obtained during the investigation process. Your active listening skills will be critical as you will interview complainants, respondents, witnesses, and other involved parties and assess information for relevance and credibility. 

Some of what you will do:
  • Ensure timelines are met and procedures are followed in investigations.
  • Maintain accurate investigative records.
  • Independently compose and review written investigation reports and correspondence.
  • Conduct technical training and workshops for managers and supervisors.
  • Conduct workplace investigations.
  • Provide interpretation and explanation of WACs, RCWs, CBAs, and Policies and Procedures.
  • Write disciplinary letters with the direction of the Appointing Authority.

Qualifications

What you will bring:
  • Six (6) years of professional relevant professional human resource experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Suite office products including Excel, Work, One Note, Outlook, and Teams.
  • One (1) year of experience conducting investigations or fact findings to include drafting formal letters and/or reports; applying strong documentation, analysis, and information gathering skills.
  • The ability to:
    • Understand and follow agency values of respect, trust, diversity, equity, and inclusion through behaviors, and decisions. 
    • Promote and support a respectful, equitable, and inclusive workplace for all employees.
    • Promote and support respectful, equitable, and inclusion delivery of services to customers. 
    • Take action to learn and grow.
    • Take action to meet the needs of others. 
Up to four (4) years of relevant education* may substitute year for year for experience.
(Associates degree = 2 years Bachelor’s degree = 4 years)
*Relevant education will include a focus on business, human resources, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or related field.

What may help set you apart:
  • Professional Human Resource Certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM).
  • Professional investigation certification from an accredited or recognized organization. 
  • Experience interpreting laws, rules, and policies.
  • Experience building collaborative relationships with unions and navigating unionized work environments.
Additional Conditions of employment:
  • This position is expected to work at a minimum of two (2) days in-office or more as business needs arise.
  • The ability to travel statewide, sometimes overnight.
